摘要
Technical PCB formulations (Aroclor 1242 and Aroclor 1260) were analyzed by high-resolution gas chromatography with flame ionization detection (HRGC/FID). A procedure is presented to predict relative FID response factors, by which individual PCB congeners in technical mixtures can be determined in mass (weight) percentages. Technical PCB formulations with known composition, as determined by HRGC/FID analysis, can subsequently serve as secondary reference mixtures for the calibration of the responses of more sensitive and specific detectors (ECD, MS-SIM), which are used for PCB trace analysis in practice.
