摘要
Catalase activity of m-phenylene-linked manganese porphyrin dimer was measured in the presence of various nitrogen bases. The catalase activity was dependent upon the the basicity as well as the concentration of the additive nitrogen bases where formation of the corresponding five-coordinated manganese species was less favorable. Deprotonation of hydrogen peroxide is the key step in the development of catalase activity.
