HIGGS 2-PHOTON INTERACTION IN THE STANDARD MODEL - THE QCD RADIATIVE CORRECTION

The Higgs-two-photon interaction in the Standard Model is investigated. We calculate the two-loop QCD radiative correction to this vertex. Also, the QCD radiative correction to the Hgammagamma decay rate and to the cross section of single Higgs production on photon colliders are discussed. Below threshold we found a negligible correction to the Hgammagamma vertex, thus supporting results obtained earlier [A. Djouadi et al., Phys. Lett. B 257 (1991) 187 ]. Above threshold the radiative corrections appear to be large for both the real and imaginary part of the Hgammagamma formfactor. This leads to a radiative correction for GAMMA(H --> gammagamma) and for the cross section of single Higgs production on the photon collider to be on the order of (20-100)% at m(t) = 150 GeV. Possible applications of our results to the Higgs search at Next Linear Colliders (NLC) are briefly discussed.
