摘要
The structure of poly(vinylidene chloride)(PVDC) has been confirmed to be predominantly a head-to-tail configuration. Through novel synthesis routes the head-to-head (H-H) configuration of PVDC can be prepared. Although some preliminary work has been reported, the mechanism of thermal degradation of the H-H configuration is not well known. The purpose of this communication is to first, confirm the previous results and second, make a first attempt at understanding the thermal degradation of H-H PVDC.
