摘要
There has been increasing interest in determining the effects of residual elements on the corrosion behavior of Fe-Cr-Ni alloys. This study was carried out in an effort to determine the effects of C, S, and P on the intergranular SCC resistance of Ni-15Cr-7Fe alloy 600 in high temperature waters and 50% sodium hydroxide. The effects of these residual elements on the intergranular corrosion susceptibility of the alloy were determined using oxidizing acid corrosion tests per ASTM recommended procedures. In addition, the mechanical properties and microstructure were studied.
