摘要
The formulas for the complete electromagnetic field of a unit horizontal electric dipole on the surface of a dielectric-coated conductor (microstrip) as derived elsewhere are written down and used to derive expressions for the far field. This includes the space wave and the surface wave. The radiated power and radiation resistance are derived. The corresponding formulas for the far field of an antiresonant rectangular patch antenna with an assumed sinusoidal current distribution are derived.
