摘要
This paper proposes a ceramics-free waveguide for high power ITER IC system (15-80 MHz) which is a TEM waveguide supported mechanically by T-shaped ridged waveguides. The transmission-line theory shows that this waveguide has the power handling capability of more than 3 MW, where we use an optimized antenna impedance for the ITER plasma parameters. The transmission line model for the analysis is verified by the experiments of one-tenth scale model.
