We report a patient with medically refractory complex partial seizures (CPS) caused by a cerebral neurocytoma located near the amygdala. Neurocytoma represents resents an important addition to the differential diagnosis and, in particular, must be differentiated from oligodendroglioma and dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumor. Accurate pathological differentiation has therapeutic and prognostic implications.
