摘要
The zero-magnon lines in the 3800Å region and in the near infrared region of the antiferromagnetic FeF2 are studied in the framework of the crystal field theory, including the spin-orbit interaction and the molecular field. Assignment of the zero-magnon line in the near infrared region is made within this framework. Inclusion of some other effects is, however, necessary for the consistent understanding of the microscopic origin of the zero-magnon lines in the 3800Å region. © 1968, THE PHYSICAL SOCIETY OF JAPAN.
