The mass spectra resulting from electron ionization and resonantly enhanced two-photon ionization of amino acid tryptophan molecules evaporated by the first harmonic frequency of a Nd-YAG laser from an aqueous cryogenic matrix were obtained. The resonantly enhanced two-photon spectrum in the region of 0-0 origin bands of tryptophan conformers was also measured.
