INFLUENCE OF RELAXATION ON THE SHAPE OF THE AUGER-SPECTRA OF METALS

摘要
A theoretical investigation of the influence of relaxation effects, caused by the presence of hole states in the core and in the valence band, on the energy structure of Auger spectra is presented. KLV spectra of magnesium and aluminium were calculated applying the perturbation theory approach. For the calculation of the MVV spectra of copper the cluster method and the Slater transition state were applied. It is also shown that taking into account the Auger transition probabilities is important for correct interpretation of experimentally observed spectra. © 1990.
