摘要
The techniques used to calibrate and monitor the energy response of the CCFR (Lab E) iron-scintillator target calorimeter for a precision measurement of shower energies are described. Measurements on the energy response of the calorimeter to hadrons, electrons, and minimum ionizing muons (from range outs) are presented. The calorimeter's energy response and resolution for hadrons and electrons are obtained using a test beam with energies between 15 and 450 GeV. © 1990.
