摘要
The weight loss behaviour and decomposition temperature of calcium, copper, cadmium and barium salts of C16, C18 and C18:1 were studied by thermogravimetry. Initial temperatures of weight loss for metal salts of C16 and C18 in both air and nitrogen flows decreased in the order of Ba greater-than-or-equal-to Cd > Ca > Cu. That of C18:1 indicated in the order of Cd > Ba > Ca > Cu. After the initiation of the thermal decomposition, the weitht loss proceeded slowly. This, however, proceeded rapidly from a temperature corresponding to about 10% weight loss. The weight loss from initiation to 25% weight loss was considered to be caused by the decomposition of hydrocarbon moiety, the release of fatty acids and the decarbonation of carboxyl group accompanied by the formation of ketones.
