LONG PERIOD COMMENSURABILITY IN THE MAGNETIC-STRUCTURES OF PRGA2 AND NDGA2

摘要
Two successive modulated antiferromagnetic structures have been determined by neutron diffraction in both hexagonal compounds PrGa2 and NdGa2. In their low temperature phase, the modulation locks into an unbalanced long period commensurate antiphase structure, which leads to a small zero field ferromagnetic component and to a multistep behaviour in the magnetization curves.
