THERMODYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF NH3-H2O/NH4+-H3O+BETA/BETA-AL2O3 FUEL-CELLS

摘要
Thermodynamic equilibria and equilibrium species distribution were calculated for the systems NH3-H2, NH3-H2O and NH3-H2-H2O. The simulation calculation suggested that if NH3-gas mixtures were used for NH4+ -H3O+ -beta"/beta-Al2O3 solid electrolyte fuel cells operated > 100-degrees-C, the EMF would be comparable with that of H2-O2 fuel cells.
