THE ISOLATION OF PREANTRAL FOLLICLES FROM BOVINE OVARIES

摘要
A simple method for isolation of bovine preantral follicles from bovine ovaries was developed. In the result of a dosed mechanical dissection of the ovarian cortex followed by physical cell separation procedures approximately 300 follicle from one ovary were isolated. The follicles were characterized as primary (one layer of epithelial cells, 40-50-mu-m in diameter) and secundary (multiple layer of epithelial cells, 60-100-mu-m) follicles.
