摘要：

The use of a computer to maintain blood bank records is a practical means for reducing the burden of secretarial activities. It provides legible, formated reports of daily activities, completed files, special reports and monthly statistical summaries. Daily statistical and inventory data provided by the computer can assist in anticipating donor blood requirements. In addition, the computer provides an auditing capacity that is virtually unobtainable by manual technics.
