摘要
An ac magnetic field was applied parallel to the surface of a tubular sample of superconducting Nb3Sn. The frequency and amplitude of the ac field were used to calculate the largest hysteresis power loss per unit surface area, Ws, which could be applied without flux jumping. The values of Ws increased with increasing background dc field. © 1969 The American Institute of Physics.
