PINNING MECHANISM IN SUPERCONDUCTING NBTI ALLOYS AT HIGH MAGNETIC-FIELDS

摘要
For the field dependence of the volume pinning force F(H) of superconducting NbTi alloys a positive curvature is found at high magnetic fields. It is shown that the experimental F(H) curve can be described in the high‐field range by a model of plastic deformations of the flux line lattic proposed by Schmucker, when line pinning is assumed.
