DNA content by cytophotometric analysis has been investigated in mature tissues of Lilium longiflorum plants. Cytophotometric measurements have revealed that many differentiated tissues of stem, root, leaf, scales and flower parts are in the diploid conditions. © 1979 Springer-Verlag.
