摘要
The morphology of fracture surfaces of multidirectional quasi-istropic layups of carbon fibre-reinforced plastic composites has been studied to identify the features characteristic for basic types of static loading. Specimens were tested in tension, compression, three-point bending and in-plane shear. Optical and scanning electron microscopy were employed for the analysis of fracture surfaces. Some problematic observations of the fractography of delamination surfaces are discussed. The macroscopic morphological features of the delaminations are explained from microscopic observations.
