摘要：

Violarite Ni//2FeS//4 from the Copper King Mine occurs as a secondary mineral after pentlandite. It is associated with fresh pyrrhotite and with several altered forms of pyrrhotite including secondary pyrite after pyrrhotite. Hence, violarite has a much broader stability range in the oxidation environment than was previously suspected.; Violarite from the Copper King Mine, Boulder County, Colorado, occurs as a secondary mineral after pentlandite. It is associated with fresh pyrrhotite and with several altered forms of pyrrhotite including secondary pyrite after pyrrhotite. Hence, violarite has a much broader stability range in the oxidation environment than was previously suspected.
