摘要
We study physical adsorption of multilayer liquid films in the vicinity of an oblique corner formed by the intersection of two planar surfaces. This is a simplified example of the geometry in a porous medium. The film-vapor interface is determined by minimizing the free energy of the system. The excess coverage is studied as a function of film thickness d and the corner angle 2. Numerical results are presented in terms of a characteristic (capillary) length scale , which divides the behavior into two thickness regimes. Surface tension dominates if d, but has a negligible effect if d. © 1990 The American Physical Society.
