摘要
It was found that organodichloromonosilanes such as Ph2SiCl2, PhMeSiCl2 and Me2SiCl2 could be electroreductively polymerized in aprotic solvents to give the corresponding organopolysilanes in good or reasonable yields. Preliminary optimization was made for supporting electrolyte, solvent, additive, cathode material, current density, amount of charge passed, concentration and temperature. Preferable results were obtained by using a Pt cathode in dimethoxyethane (DME) containing Bu4NBF4 at room temperature Mechanism of the polymerization was also discussed. © 1990.
