摘要
The effect of metabolic inhibitors on the leucocyte adhesiveness to glass beads was examined. Monoiodoacetate was the only inhibitor which depressed adhesiveness when used separately. By combining monoiodoacetate and antimycin or 2-deoxy-D-glucose and oligomycin, the adhesiveness of leucocytes was markedly depressed. This indicates that leucocyte adhesiveness is an energy-requiring process, deriving the energy from the glycolytic and the oxidative pathways. © 1969 Informa UK Ltd All rights reserved: reproduction in whole or part not permitted.
