METHOD FOR ANALYSIS OF PURE QUADRUPOLE SPECTRA IN NUCLEAR GAMMA-RAY RESONANCE

摘要
A method has been described to analyze the pure quadrupole spectra measured in nuclear gamma-ray resonance experiments, which does not require complex diagonalization routines. The resonance line positions and their intensities have been expressed as polynomials in the asymmetry parameter η, for various excited and ground state nuclear spins. The procedure has been programmed in Fortran IV. Some useful illustrations and applications are given. © 1969.
