摘要
It is found that the initial increase in the magnetic field induced microwave absorption, in micron-size powder samples of Y1Ba2Cu3O7, follows the empirical form (H/H-0)(1 + H/H-0)-1 with H-0 << H(Cl). A simple model in which the defects on the grain surfaces are visualized as forming rf SQUIDS is suggested as a plausible explanation.
