摘要
The relative order of strength of protein ionic linkages where multioxyanionic groups are involved is considered to be: arginine (guanidinium) > lysine (ε-ammonium) > terminal ammonium > histidine (iminazole). This order can cover various phenomena in which intra- and inter-ionic linkages of proteins are involved, e.g. interactions and breakdown or associations on addition of suitable oxyanions, protein separation from DNA, and the strength of attachment of lysine-rich and arginine-rich histones to DNA. © 1969.
