摘要：

The relations between the discrete symmetries of moduli of flat compactifications and the automorphisms around points of extended affine symmetries are formulated. A large symmetry group emerges. The consequences of various connections between such discrete symmetries (gauge and other) and the symmetries of the low energy effective action are discussed. The appearance of topological configurations is examined from both points of view. © 1990.
