摘要：

A half-field technique is described which overcomes the dose inhomogeneity at the junction of the upper and lower portals used in the conventional treatment of cancer of the head and neck. This study shows the dose variation at the junction of the portal to be around ±3% if due care is exercised at set-up. This technique also provides reliability and convenience in daily treatment set-up. © 1979.
