摘要
The microwave heating of a frozen half space is investigated by both analytical and numerical methods. A model that is based on the classical Stefan condition is found to exhibit superheating, and so an alternative approach, based on the enthalpy formulation, is considered. The effect of various parameters is investigated, as is the influence of supplementary conventional heating. © 1990.
