Toward a new classification of overactive bladders

摘要
Based on a large retrospective series, this study compares the International Continence Society's (ICS) classification of overactive bladders and a functional subtyping of our own, founded on clinical and urodynamic parameters. Functionally identical symptoms and urodynamic patterns were found within the Detrusor Hyperreflexia as well as the Unstable Detrusor categories. There are strong arguments for a revision of the current ICS classification system. (C) 1995 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
