ON PRODUCTION POLICIES FOR A LINEARLY INCREASING DEMAND AND FINITE, UNIFORM PRODUCTION-RATE

摘要
This paper extends Naddor's inventory models [7,pp. 111-120] of deterministic systems with a linearly increasing demand over a finite planning horizon by assuming that the production rate is uniform and finite. The solution procedures for the (s,Q), (t, Si), and (ti, Si) production policies are derived. Numerical examples are reported to compare with Naddor's case of infinite production rate and with the case of constant demand. © 1990.
