摘要
Unidirectional glass fibre/polyamide 66 composites with different additives in the matrix (like nucleating agent, thermal protectors, lubricants) and different glass fibre surface treatment (like various amount of coupling agent or sticking agent) were characterized by static and dynamic flexural tests including fatigue and viscoelasticimetry. The importance of the shear stress component on failure has been revealed. It is strongly influenced by the matrix composition. Nucleating agents and lubricants have a slight unfavourable effect, whereas thermal stabilization improves considerably the short and long term strength, which can be related to the prevention of thermal degradation during processing (as shown by viscosity measurements). The coupling agent, which is one of the many constituents of the coating, has a non negligable effect on the dynamic and long time composite properties, especially in the rubber state for temperatures higher than the Tg. © 1990.
