摘要
Low-temperature NMR measurements within the range -45 to -10-degrees-C have provided spectroscopic evidence of the formation and sequential participation of two eta-2-iminoacyl intermediates' CP*2Zr(N(Me)CCH2SiMe2CH2) and CP*2Zr(N(Me)C-C(=NMe)CH2SiMe2CH2), in the reductive coupling of two equivalents of CNMe by CP*2Zr(CH2SiMe2CH2), where Cp* = C5Me5. The resultant product, CP*2Zr(N(Me)C(CH2SiMe2CH2)=CN(Me)), has been characterized by spectroscopic and structural methods of analysis.
