摘要
Use of Sr2Ga2O5 as a sintering aid in the synthesis of polycrystalline yttria-stabilized zirconia yields well-sintered samples at 1350-degrees-C, it also essentially eliminates the grain-boundary resistance. The overall oxide-ion conductivity is improved by about 10% at 800-degrees-C at a lower manufacturing cost. However, aging or the bulk electrolyte remains a problem.
