摘要
In this communication, a method of calculating the total force exerted on a slender rigid fibre in a homogeneous displacement field based on the analogous Stokeslet approximation in fluid mechanics is reported. Up to the first lending terms in the asymptotic expansion, this force depends on the aspect ratio of the fibre via l/ln (2l/Rs). Further extension of the work is mentioned. © 1979.
