摘要
Fast scan cyclic voltammetry has been used to investigate the polymerisation kinetics of different methoxy-substituted thiophene derivatives. The voltammograms prove decreasing dimerization constants with increasing chain length of the electroactivated radical cation. The influence of the position of substitution on the reaction kinetics could be outlined by comparison of the reaction kinetics of 3,3'- and 4,4'-dimethoxy-2,2'-dithiophene
