摘要
Phenyl nucleus exchange (NE) and nitrobenzene oxidation (NO) analyses suggest that periodate oxidation (PO) of Norway spruce wood lignin was largely confined to phenolic units without appreciably affecting etherified structures. A combination of NE and PO techniques provides a facile estimation of the proportion of phenolic units among uncondensed lignin structures.
