摘要
The flow-assisted corrosion is a completely deterministic phenomena. It concerns the carbon steel equipment where hot degassed water flows. The influence of several parameters is explained through an analytical model: on one hand, the oxydo-reduction equilibrium is fixed by the ferrous iron ion concentration; on the other hand, the convective diffusion moves soluble products to the flow. A means of estimating quantitatively the corrosion kinetics in terms of wall thinning is given. Both cases of one-phase and two-phase flow are considered. The sensitivity of each set of equipment is classified.
