VUV RANGE EDGE RADIATION IN ELECTRON STORAGE-RINGS

摘要
The electron edge radiation produced in the fringe field of a storage ring bending magnet is computed according to the classical electrodynamics. The computation data show that the edge radiation in the long wave spectral range greatly exceeds in intensity the standard synchrotron radiation. Also the interference of the edge radiation from two adjacent bending magnets is considered.
