In this paper, supersheet functional integration techniques in the light-cone gauge are used to calculate tree-level NSR scattering amplitudes involving arbitrarily many external Ramond strings. Although the SO(1,9) Lorentz invariance has to be broken down to U(4), the two-dimensional superfield structure is preserved thereby allowing the amplitudes to be expressed as super-Koba-Nielsen formulae. Because these calculations are derived from the interacting quantum-mechanical string picture of Mandelstam, and not from the Polyakov ansatz of integrating over all super-vielbeins, they are manifestly unitary and their multiloop generalizations would not suffer from any total-derivative ambiguities. © 1990.
