摘要：

Chicken myosin purified by cellulose phosphate and DEAE-cellulose chromatography produced antisera of varying heterogeneity. Quantitative precipitin and gel diffusion tests of chromatographed myosin with its antisera showed the presence of at least two minor antigenic substances in addition to the major antigen (which corresponded to myosin). Reaction of antimyosin sera with myosin further purified by salt fractionation at high pH (resolved myosin) indicated that the minor antigenic components of chromatographed myosin were the low-molecular-weight components tightly bound to myosin. This was confirmed by the reactions of the low-molecular-weight fraction with antisera of chromatographed myosin and resolved myosin. © 1969.
