摘要：

Hook‐like osteophytic projections of the radial side of the distal head of the metacarpals are recorded in 7 per cent of 100 cases of Osteoarthritis. The development of such hooks is probably a response to articular cartilage degeneration and joint stress in the older age group. These hooks should not be confused with those of Jaccoud's disease.
