摘要：

A general analytical formula is proposed to estimate long-range two-electron exchange interactions in the framework of an asymptotic method for atoms with open shells of any angular type as well as for diagonal and nondiagonal cases. Using the computer algebra language MAPLE V, formulas have been derived for open valence shells of s, p, d, and f types.
