摘要
Europium doped alkaline earth haloborates M(2)B(5)O(9)X : Eu2+ (M = Ca,Sr,Ba; X = Cl,Br) are synthesized by a high temperature solid state reaction. The luminescent properties of these compounds are studied. An emission shift after X-ray activation is observed and a theoretical explanation is offered for this phenomenon.
