CONSTRAINTS ON N-2 IN NEPTUNE ATMOSPHERE FROM VOYAGER MEASUREMENTS

摘要
A nitrogen mole fraction of 0.003 is found to lie within the range of values permitted by an analysis of Voyager infrared and radio occultation measurements. If this amount of N2 is present, then the central value of the inferred helium mole fraction becomes 0.15, similar to that previously obtained for Uranus and close to the protosolar value. © 1993 by Academic Press, Inc.
