摘要：

During the first days after a single intravenous injection of streptozotocin a glycosuria of more than 2% was observed in 20 rats. Sixteen rats survived 6 weeks but only 9 showed the pronounced polyphagia and polyuria, characteristic for the chronic stage of diabetes. In these 9 rats, after giving lard perorally, a striking hyperlipemia was found as a result of delayed removal of exogenous fat from the blood. © 1969 Springer-Verlag.
