摘要
Glacial clay and silt rhythmites retain a stable remanent magnetization. Their remanence directions yield a clockwise loop with a periodicity of about 400 years. When diagenetically formed iron sulphides are present, then the magnetization direction curves are not correlatable. Copyright 1979 by the American Geophysical Union.
