摘要
The fracture of random networks on triangular lattices is simulated. The networks are built out of fibrous elements with varying lengths. For the interactions the Born Hamiltonian is used. The case of randomly distributed fibre lengths is compared with the case of constant fibre lengths. The results show that the breakdown properties are affected by the additional correlations and strengthened due to the randomness in fibre length. © 1990 IOP Publishing Ltd.
